Woman Arrested For Spitting In NYPD Sergeant’s Face During Protest


A police hater demonstrator was charged with spitting in an NYPD sergeant’s face during a savage protest in Manhattan on Wednesday night, police authorities reported.

The 24 years old woman, Devina Singh, was recorded on a video not wearing a mask and yelling at the sergeant, “F— you, fascist!” before reportedly spitting in his face.

Singh lives in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, and was charged with interference of governmental administration,  violation of local law, and harassment.

Sigh and her companions were among the crowd of left-wing, anti-police demonstrators who were in conflict with the police, lit garbage on fire, and screamed in front of restaurants in the West Village, police reported. The police arrested Sixty people.

Previously, hundreds of people gathered because of the elections in Washington Square Park. These gatherings were mostly peaceful post-Election Day demonstration. The crowd was yelling repeatedly “Count the vote”.

Before this incident, Singh was also found opposing arrest at a Big Apple protest in September and illegal gathering through a protest in Brooklyn in October, police said.

Devina Singh proudly posted a picture of her arrest in New York City on the 18th of September on her Instagram account; which recently she deleted – and she wrote in the caption that she is so f—ing mad probably because behind her (white shirt) is Deputy Inspector Elias J. Nikas AKA Little Dick Nik.

NYPD detectives union the Detectives’ Endowment Association said that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated at any cost. He added that “We know law-abiding NYers don’t want their cops treated like this. Now we need every elected official to publicly condemn it.”

Police also made a statement on Twitter saying that these kinds of actions will not be tolerated and people who committed these acts will be arrested
