A woman has given birth to twins at the age of 50, despite suffering from a 20-year battle relating to her anorexia illness.
Christine Forshaw who hails from Epson in Surrey shared her miraculous journey. The 50-year-old was termed infertile by medical experts, after battling long and hard against anorexia. Thankfully, she was lucky enough to get pregnant after undergoing IVF as her fourth attempt.

Doctors feared the worst for her with a weight so low, explaining how her eating struggles had probably left her infertile for good.
But after years of help, support and encouragement, she was able to get back on track with her routine. And in the end, she became pregnant after going through her fourth IVF round.
Today, the miracle mum claims she feels uber proud when looking at her beautiful babies which include twin daughter Emily Tracey and Grace Christine. They reportedly arrived just three minutes apart from one another.
“After my weight struggles due to anorexia, my periods completely stopped. I honestly felt like I had lost all the chances of being pregnant and having children at all. But now, I have both and it’s double the joy. The mum of two says it was always her dream to have children and she just couldn’t be happier now.
“I know many will say I’m just too old to be a mother but this is all about what I want and what’s right for me, not what other people think.”
