William & Harry Will Not Meet Ahead Of The Funeral, Which Means They Will Face One Another For The First Time In A Year Before The Service

Princes William and Harry are unlikely to see each other ahead of their Philip’s funeral – this means the brothers will come face-to-face for the first time in a year shortly before the service.

Prince Harry is in strict quarantine at his Windsor home after coming back from LA in the hours after the Duke of Edinburgh’s death.

The Duke of Sussex must isolate at the Frogmore cottage for five full days and must test negative from Covid.

On the other hand, the Cambridges are with their children at their home in Norfolk for the Easter holiday which means that the brothers will not meet ahead of the funeral.

The hopes of healing the brothers’ rift are still high, and some claim that they will most probably forget everything that has been said in the past before Harry returns to pregnant Meghan in America.

The Duchess of Sussex was advised not to travel to the UK for the funeral and it’s also been reported that Meghan chose to stay home because she “didn’t want to be the center of attention”.

Meghan also reportedly encouraged her husband and his family to “put their differences aside”.

“Meghan said her main concern right now is supporting Harry,” a source said. “She said she left it up to him as to whether or not she would attend the funeral.”

“Meghan said it’s during these times when family should come together, put their differences aside and unite as one,” the source continued. “She said this is what Prince Philip would want and that she’s willing to forgive and move forward.”

“Meghan said this is the opportune time for Harry to mend his relationship with his brother and his dad,” the source added. “She doesn’t need to be there for that.”

Prince Harry hasn’t seen his family face-to-face since he left and moved to the US with his wife and son in March last year.

Following the bombshell Oprah interview, it’s expected that the Royal Family were left deeply upset by the allegations made. But despite what happened, it’s understood that the Royals are keen to see Harry after a year of being apart.

“I think if there’s anything that’s sort of beautiful about this week and in the days leading up to the funeral it’s about seeing a family unified in a way that we haven’t seen in so many years,” Omid Scobie, the co-author of Finding Freedom biography has said.
