Brexit’s leader, Nigel Farage, made a rather bold statement about the Sussexes recently and he firmly believes in standing by his words.
According to Nigel Farage, the British public will not welcome Meghan Markle and Prince Harry home, even for Prince Philip’s funeral, he confirmed. Moreover, recent statistics revealed how at least one person does not believe Prince Harry should rush to be by his beloved grandfather’s side for the funeral too.
Meanwhile, the bold Brexit leader didn’t shy away from his claims, further elaborating why he feels it’s not such a good idea for Prince Harry to return.
Yanking up his welcoming mat for Harry, he used his Twitter account to portray his thoughts on the sensitive matter. And that is when he slammed Harry as well as his wife Meghan Markle for putting out a terse statement regarding the demise of Prince Philip, who passed away at Windsor Castle on Friday, at the age of 99.
Farage added how he believed both Harry and Meghan were a couple who did a lot of public emotion as a career for gaining attention and fame. He went on to claim how their one-line statement showed their true feelings about the great man and the monarchy in general.
“The Brits will never welcome Harry and Meghan back with open arms, even for Prince Philip’s funeral,” he again reiterated.
On the other hand, Buckingham Palace mentioned on Saturday how Prince Harry would indeed be making the flight from California to the United Kingdom to be by his family during this tough time. However, his wife Meghan Markle has not been given the green signal to make the 11-hour flight back to the United Kingdom as she is heavily pregnant with a baby girl that is due in the summer.
Interestingly enough, Meghan did fly when she was seven months pregnant with baby Archie for her baby shower in February of 2019, where she traveled to New York.
