As Trump supporters gathered for the second Million MAGA March, Proud Boys and BLM protestors got into a fight.
Thousands of Trump supporters gathered outside the Supreme Court in DC on Saturday after it dismissed Trump’s fraud votes appeal. There were more than 15000 people, and they raised slogans like “destroy the GOP” and “Trump is the best president we have ever had.”
Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist, said Biden would be removed one way or another. The statement induced argument and scuffle between BLM and Trump supporters. Police arrested at least 23 people on Saturday for their involvement in physical violence.
After the BLM supporters set off fireworks, the cops cleared the area using pepper spray and arrested those who showed resistance.
The incident’s footage shows a member of the proud boy lying on the floor and getting treated for a stomach wound after fighting with an anti-Trump protester.
We are not sure if the suspect was arrested or he fled the crime scene.Eight people in total were taken to the hospital, and they were said to be struggling with life-threatening injuries. Two of the people were police officers; the association of the remaining six members with either party was not confirmed immediately.
Trump supporters also gathered in large numbers in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, and Nevada to protest against the supreme court’s decision, which denied Trump’s appeal on Friday.
As violence began on both sides of the state, Trump returned to his residence after attending a football match between Army and Naval forces in West Point, New York.
The violence also erupted in California, resulting in six people’s arrests and minor injuries to five cops.
Police blocked the paths of several small groups so they can not meet each other and cause violence. Trump’s supporters were frustrated by the restrictions of police officers and set the BLM flag on fire.The two groups get into a verbal fight with each other in the beginning as the police interfered and managed to keep them apart. They later gathered a few blocks away, and tension emerged between the two parties. Trump’s strict adherence to his claim of fraud elections is putting the nation’s peace at stake.
