Detectives in north London released horrifying video footage from a suspected rape case of last year.
The new CCTV video showcases two men laughing away, after allegedly raping a woman.
During the video, you can clearly see the 31-year-old female, walking outside of a pub. Meanwhile, viewers also catch a glimpse of two men walking by her side. Although it’s still not clear what relation she had with them. After walking a few miles, the victim is brutally attacked. And shortly after that, the men rape her too.
The terrifying crime took place over Green Lanes in North London, last year.
Meanwhile, the case’s detective, Constable Daniel Hooper confirmed the findings. He explained how the video revealed footage from a crime scene that took place over a year ago. Therefore, he went on to claim how the gruesome video showed the suspects clearly. For that reason, the police are very hopeful in finding the accused and bringing them to justice.
‘I would also like to reinstate how important it is to share this information widely. Furthermore, I appeal to the public directly to see the footage. If they identify any one of the suspects, we welcome them to come forward and assist us with the investigation,’ he exclaimed.
So far, there were no arrests regarding the case. But the officials handling the rather tragic ordeal are hopeful to find closure soon. And till then, they’re asking the public for their immense support. No matter what clues and details they may have regarding any of these men, they must come forward.
