The victims shot dead by a gunman who opened fire on innocent shoppers at a local grocery store in Boulder were identified.
According to media reports, the heartbreakingly tragic incident took place on Monday afternoon in Colorado. To be more specific, police identified the incident at the King Soopers grocery outlet in Boulder. Here is where one gunman who was later identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa opened fire on the shoppers.
Authorities revealed the list of all the innocent lives lost in the incident, leaving loved ones and citizens in tears and with immense feelings of grief.
The people who died included 25-year-old Rikki Olds, 51-year-old Teri Leiker, 20-year-old Denny Strong, 23-year-old Neven Stansic, 49-year-old Tralona Bartkowiak, 59-year-old Suzanne Fountain, 61-year-old Kevin Mahoney, 62-year-old Lynn Murray, and 65-year-old Jody Waters too.
In the same way, police also revealed how 51-year old Eric Talley who was a police officer from Boulder, was also killed, right after he responded to the news of the incident.
Therefore, one California-based reporter went as far as posting the most heartfelt and touching tribute to her dad.
She was Erika Mahoney and revealed how much she missed her dad Kevin.
He was one of the victims who died in the tragic massacre too. Moreover, she also spoke about how he had recently walked her down the aisle when she became a bride but never ever did she expect to lose him so soon.The California-based journalist shed light on how so many innocent victims died in the incident, referring to it as the most painful tragedy of all. “My dad represents all things, Love. I am super grateful that he got the opportunity to walk me down the aisle, just last summer,” she added.
She and several other grief-stricken families shared their thoughts and prayers regarding loved ones who lost their lives. In the same way, they called the gunman out, hoping that he would ‘burn in hell’. Currently, investigations into the matter are still underway.
