“I came here, wasn’t feeling so well. I feel much better now. We’re working hard to get me all the way back … I’ll be back, I think I’ll be back soon,” he said.

“I had no choice because I just didn’t want to stay in the White House. I was given that alternative: stay in the White House, lock yourself in, don’t ever leave, don’t even go to the Oval Office, just stay upstairs and enjoy it”

“I can’t be locked up in the room upstairs, and totally safe, and just say ‘Hey whatever happens, happens’. I can’t do that. We have to confront problems. As a leader you have to confront problems,” he added.

“There’s never been a great leader that would have done that.”

Earlier that day, the White House released two pictures showing the President working in the presidential suite of the hospital, where he has been since Friday.

The President’s physician, Navy Commander Dr. Sean Conley stated that Trump “made substantial progress since diagnosis.”

One of the photos show Trump sitting at the same desk from which he delivered the video message he posted on Twitter.

Both the video and the pictures were posted after confusion surfaces over the President’s condition.

Conley insisted that the President was improving and continuing to work, while another source claims that Trump was not doing very well.

“This evening he completed his second dose of remdesivir without complication. He remains fever-free and off supplemental oxygen with a saturation level between 96% and 98% all day,” wrote Conley.

“He spent most of the afternoon conducted business, and has been up and moving about the medical suite without difficulty. While not yet out of the woods, the team remains cautiously optimistic.”

The White House said that the President will remain at the hospital for a few days while his condition is being monitored.
