Donald Trump‘s new website crashed after he shared a claim that the Arizona election result was rigged by voter fraud.
The “From the Desk of Donald Trump” site was down for at least an hour before it was restored.
The website, which is essentially a blog, allows Trump to upload content but does not allow readers to interact.
According to The Gateway Pundit, the website crashed shortly after the Ex-POTUS issued a statement saying that Arizona’s election results were fraudulent.
As of this writing, it is still unclear why Trump’s website crashed or whether it was hacked.
Before the online site crash, Trump stated that the entire Maricopa County ballot database has been deleted before alleging massive voter fraud in the form of ‘broken seals on boxes, ballots missing, and worse.’
The former president also asserted that the southwestern state would be the first to undo the ‘rigged’ 2020 election after a recount in Maricopa County conducted by the Florida company Cyber Ninjas.
Arizona’s vote recount started last month after the state’s Republican-led Senate hired a company to conduct the audit.
Doug Logan, Cyber Ninjas CEO, was overseeing the vote audit despite the company having no experience working in elections.
Logan also spread outrageous conspiracy theories that a company tied to Hugo Chavez, the long-dead Venezuelan dictator, rigged voting machines against Donald Trump.
The audit only checked the votes made in the presidential and US Senate races, which were won by Democrats.
“Let’s see what they find,” Trump stated. “I wouldn’t be surprised if they found thousands and thousands and thousands of votes”.
“We’re going to watch that very quickly and, after that, we’ll Pennsylvania, we’ll watch Georgia, and you’re going to watch Michigan, and Wisconsin, and New Hampshire,” Trump continued. “This was a rigged election and everybody knows it and we’re going to be watching it very closely.”
It is known that Trump repeatedly tried to oppose election results, but was unsuccessful after failing to provide strong proof that Joe Biden’s win was fraudulent.
