Jason Miller, former President Donald Trump’s senior adviser, reveals Trump’s plans to launch his own social-media platform within the coming months.
The long-time top aide did not provide the details, but claimed the move will “completely redefine the game.”
“I do think we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media is probably about two or three months here with his own platform,” Miller said on Sunday’s interview.
“This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media.”
“It’s going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does, but it will be his own platform,” the top aide added.
Miller shared that the former President had had “a lot of high-powered meetings” at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, with “numerous companies” interested in helping him launch the platform.
“This new platform is going to be big,” Miller continued. “Everyone wants him and he’s going to bring millions and millions — tens of millions — to this platform.”
In 2016, Miller worked on Trump’s bid for the White House, then 2020 as a senior adviser during the latter’s failed reelection campaign.
The announcement comes after several social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, banned Trump permanently, following his incitement of the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
Twitter then contemplates whether leaders should have to follow the same rules as the average citizen while Facebook decides whether its indefinite suspension of Trump should stand.
The former President was known for tweeting hundreds of times in a single day.
Since his ban, Trump had been releasing short statements through his office that are shared by reporters and political consultants.
When asked for a comment, the office of the former President did not immediately respond.
