Two pro-Trump rioters who were captured on camera, storming into the US Capitol, were recently fired from their job.
The Direct Marketing department of Navistar issued a public statement on Thursday where they confirmed the dismissal of one of their employees. This employee walked through the US Capitol, wearing his work pass, which hung around his neck.
On the other hand, reports confirmed how the other rioter worked at Goosehead Insurance. He was later identified as Lawyer Paul Davis, who live-streamed his vile actions from outside the US Capitol building. The company confirmed how this employee is no longer a part of the organization.
In the same way, a spokesperson from Goosehead Insurance mentioned how Mr. Paul’s actions weren’t representing the firm. Also, he spoke about how the company condemned his actions and had zero support for them. Hence, he was dismissed for this reason.
In the public statement released by Navistar, the company mentioned how many came forward to make them aware of the fact that one of their employees was involved. Additionally, they confirmed how he donned the Navistar work pass around his neck. The entire incident took place during a security breach, it confirmed.
Currently, the organization is cooperating with authorities in all ways possible. And that’s when pictures of the unidentified Navistar employee in the building, began going viral.
The company also mentioned how it supports employee’s rights to exercise their freedom of speech lawfully, there is zero-tolerance for moves like these.
Therefore, it added how the actions portrayed on that day at Capitol were not only dangerous for them, it endangered the lives of so many others.
And for that reason, they cease to have any employment opportunities now or in the future.Recently, several photographs of the employee showed him standing next to another heavily tattooed Pro-Trump rioter. The latter also donned horns, fur, and face paint too. He was identified as Jake Angeli.
Meanwhile, police are still hunting for more individuals believed to be involved. They also released a series of pictures of those people of interest that they wish to identify.
