The Supreme Court recently dumped Trump’s final three cases of overturning the elections out of the window, confirmed reports.
Local news outlets spoke about how the final cases were brought forward to the justices by Trump, as a bid to challenge his electoral loss. However, it appears that Trump won’t be getting any good news after all as the court denied processing the case any further.
Dated March 8th, the court rejected all of Trump’s appeal which challenged thousands of empty ballots which were filed in the state of Wisconsin during the 2020 election run. Here is where Trump lost out to his competitor Joe Biden, by a whopping 20,000 votes.
Moreover, this also marked the end of the 3 final petitions filed towards the Supreme Court by the former US president, as he walked out of power. Now, news reports confirmed how the justices simply denied taking the proceedings any further, putting a disappointing end to Trump’s efforts to cling on to his position of president of the US.
In the same way, the news did break out last month when the court confirmed turning away two of Donald Trump’s appeals- including a second challenge for Wisconsin’s absent ballots. The other appeals were concerning the voting pattern in Pennsylvania, which was held on February 22nd, as confirmed by Reuters.
Just like Wisconsin, another state that clearly proved Biden’s mega victory was Pennsylvania. And as you can probably expect, it turned out to be a major upset for Trump.
Trump’s claims underwent rejection by a federal judge as well as the famous Chicago 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals. The latter also spoke about how Donald Trump had to wait for a very long time, just so he could sue.
Since the month of November and the declaration of Biden’s victory, the former US president has made a series of false allegations regarding voting fraud with failure to accept his defeat. Therefore, the rejection of his final cases comes as another blow to his last hopes for clinging on to power.
