The outgoing president of the US, Donald Trump is reportedly set to ditch the Republicans by creating his own party.
Discussing his idea with top aids and officials, the news was confirmed by The Wall Street Journal recently. According to media reports, the party is set to be renowned as ‘The Patriot Party.’ Moreover, the President also announced to his supporters how this new movement is just the start of many new great things. This came as a surprise to many in the President’s farewell address.
However, it is still not confirmed how serious he is when it comes to moving forward with the idea. In addition, the new party formation will require huge sums of money, time, and effort too.
In the same way, Trump announced a promise to his loyal fans and followers that he would remain a ‘continued presence’ on the political forefront. He added how his move is just the beginning as he hands down power to a new administration.
