Pro-Donald Trump supporters clashed with BLM demonstrators at a march held outside Trump Tower in New York recently.
Images from the scene showed how the crowds comprised of pro-Trump supporters that held large banners, alongside the terms ‘Trump 2024’ as well as ‘Make America Great Again’ and ‘Trump 2024.’
Right towards the march’s end, the mega Pro-Trump clashed with Black Lives Matter demonstrators, who coincidently happened to be present in the same area.
Moreover, law enforcement officials who were present at the scene also carried out an array of arrests over those inciting violence.
Meanwhile, in a recent update that came posted on Twitter, New York’s Police Department mentioned how it made a series of arrests as several officers had to be faced with all sorts of violent behavior from both sides. The incident also left one officer severely injured, who is currently being treated for his wounds at a nearby medical facility.
Reports confirmed how suspected bleach was thrown upon the officer’s eyes which led to his dire condition.
“4 arrests took place for a number of crimes, which include assaults upon officers as well as weapons possession too. Moreover, the violent actions will not be tolerated under any circumstance, especially from all those who portray themselves as peaceful protesters,” mentioned the police force.
In the same way, images from the scene showed Black Lives Matter members getting arrested by the police officers. But it is still unclear whether or not they were arrested for their violent behavior.
Another huge banner came into the spotlight which clearly depicted an image of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a demon.
This march comes less than 7 days after Trump hinted to the nation how he would again be running for the post of presidency in the year 2024. Also, the former president continued to make false claims as to how he lost in the 2020 elections race because of fraud and rigging of votes.
