Facebook & Instagram BAN Trump’s Latest Interview Where He Confirmed His Run For President In 2024


Both Facebook and Instagram pulled out Donald Trump’s latest interview where he signaled his run for the presidency in 2024.

According to media reports, the interview had Trump’s voice in it with the former president speaking. And since he is banned from both networks, both platforms had no choice but to send out warning emails about pulling out the live footage.

This is the former US president’s first live interview on camera, ever since he left the White House in January. Moreover, the president chose to sit down and interact with his own daughter in law Laura Trump. Here, he spoke about several topics, including his bid for the presidency in the upcoming US elections in 2024.

Meanwhile, both Facebook and Instagram aren’t the only ones to ban the former president. Trump remains banned on Twitter too, ever since the deadly Capitol riots rocked the country on January 6th. For this reason, the news isn’t a huge shocker.

In addition, Facebook took this opportunity to announce how it plans on banning all sorts of content that take place in the voice of the former US president.

Lara Trump planned on uploading her interview with Trump at around 9:30 pm. However, by 9:26 pm, her team received a breakthrough email from Facebook, where it revealed the shocking news of how the interview would not receive the permission needed for its airing on the social media giant platform.

In the same way, Facebook boldly declared how the video would be removed immediately, in case Laura opted to upload it. Hence, at 9:51 pm, when she uploaded it, it was taken down.

Now, critics are calling out FAcebook’s behavior. They believe the decision is a step too far in terms of unfairness while claiming it pushes the nation more towards the concept of censorship. Laura added on that occasion, “we are definitely one step closer towards Orwell’s from 1984.
