Donald Trump May Soon Have To Answer To S*xual Assault Allegations Under Oath


Donald Trump’s legal challenges take another turn as he may soon after to answer to his rape allegations under oath.

The shocking news comes as E. Jean Carroll filed the defamation lawsuit against the former US president in 2019. In that particular suit, Trump allegedly defamed Carroll after he denied her accusation that revolved around him raping her at a dressing room in Bergdorf Goodman, in 1996.

Now, Carroll’s lawyers claim that they are seeking to depose the former president for his actions in the lawsuit.

Recently, Carroll conducted an interview with Reuters this week, where she boldly mentioned, “I am literally living for the day where I am able to walk into that room and sit right across the table from him.” Moreover, she added how she thinks about this every single day.

According to local media outlets, Trump took assistance from the US Justice Department in terms of pushing the case’s date as forward as possible during his presidency reign. But now, since he is no longer in office, Carroll says she is hoping for the best with the case being reopened again with deposition to come forward, this year.

77-year-old Carroll is a former magazine columnist for Elle, who seeks great damages from the lawsuit. However, they currently have not been specified. She also seeks a retraction from Trump’s many statements as well.

This is one of the two major defamation cases against the former president that involve allegations pertaining to sexual misconduct. And since he has left the post of the presidency, they will now move at a faster pace.
