Aria DiMezzo, who calls herself ‘Trans Satanist anarchist’ and whose campaign slogan was “F*** the Police” has won the Republican nomination for New Hampshire county sheriff.
Aria DiMezzo captured the GOP nominations for Cheshire County sheriff on Tuesday night after she ran unopposed in the party primary. And she won it despite the fact she didn’t get any support from the county or the state GOP.
She thought that she will lose to a write-in candidate, but instead, 4,211 voters voted for her, which made her the official Republican candidate for County Sheriff.
Marylin Huston, The head of the Cheshire County Republican Party, misgendered Aria by calling her as ‘he’ when she was offered congratulations. Huston said that ‘He did very well with the primary and that was wonderful.’
According to the Huston, DiMezzo ran as a Republican because she couldn’t get onto the Libertarian Party’s ballot. She signed up two days before the deadline when she learned that a longtime GOP candidate Earl Nelson is not running.
DiMezzo said that her party didn’t support her they were not on her side, and she thanked the people of Rindge.
Huston denies the fact that there was any kind of coordinated effort to keep DiMezzo from winning and also denied the fact that the GOP is shunning DiMezzo and said ‘I guess that’s just part of the whole political scene.’
DiMezzo is a member of Free Keene which is a group of Libertarian activists, and she is also a host of an internet radio show, in which she is famously known as ‘she-Male.’ She favors ending the prosecution of drug crimes, sex work, illegal immigration, and other victimless crimes, she said that she is more liberal than her Democratic opponent, Eli Rivera.
She said that a lot of people get fined and arrested for that don’t have any victims.
And the Local Republicans are expressing their concerns about DiMezzo’s gender, religious beliefs, and political position on social media.
DiMezzo also identifies herself as a high priestess of the Reformed Satanic Church. The church describes itself as an organization that is dedicated to the sovereignty of the individual and the principle of non-aggression. According to the church, Lucifer is not their God, nor king, but their example.
Now, after winning the nomination of the New Hampshire county sheriff, DiMezzo will face off against a four-term incumbent, the Democrat Eli Rivera.
