It was a horrifying ordeal for one 85-year-old woman when a robber shamelessly smashed her to ground in Spain.
The Robber attempted to steal money from her bag. And that’s when she bravely resisted. However, she ended up with severe injuries across her face during the resistance.
The robber. a 34-year-old man from Romania, struck the old lady violently across the face, as she resisted his demand. According to police officials, the man followed her towards her apartment block and then tried to steal around 40 Euros from her bag.
Meanwhile, police officials are applauding the woman’s bravery. She showed unmatched courage while preventing the man from stealing. And if that meant getting injured in the process, then so be it.
According to reports, the CCTV footage of the tragic incident clearly shows the minute by minute updates of how the event occurred. Here, the old lady enters her apartment building in Valencia. Closeby, you can clearly make out how the Romanian man is watching her every move. And that’s how he follows her in broad daylight hours, around 2 pm.
Slowly, he makes his way towards the woman, attempting to steal her money from her purse. But the pensioner puts up a great fight.
She purposefully clings on, trying her level best to come out of his strong grasp. Instead of letting her go, the 34-year-old thief forcefully pushes her into the wall. And that was followed by a brutally giant elbow, directed towards her face.
Suddenly, she drops towards the ground and that’s when he makes a fast-paced exit.
Soon, the woman is discovered, bleeding profusely from her head as ambulances rushed by her side. She was taken to a nearby hospital where medical staff attended to her wounds.
Policed declared that her bag had around 40 Euros, followed by credit cards, as well as her identification card.
Based upon her description, they patrolled the vicinity and found the man roaming in the area. Furthermore, they arrested him and put him behind bars. Moreover, the man’s records also showed recent criminal activity of the past. El Espanol made claims that the victim is currently undergoing medical treatment but is out of danger.
