Texas School Blasted For Observing ‘Chivalry Day’ Where Girls Forced To Obey Boys


A Texas School came in the line of fire recently, where it forced its students to embark upon a ‘Chivalry Day’.

The school’s administration reportedly organized the day’s rules and regulations, which themed around girls obeying boys. Moreover, it encouraged the act where female students would obey any and all ‘reasonable’ commands made by fellow male classmates.

According to the assignment’s copy that was distributed to the participants, the very unorthodox lesson turned into a surprise for many who laid their eyes over it. Moreover, some simply couldn’t believe how the assignment was truly designed to mimick the torments of the Medieval era where chivalry ruled the day. In the same way, many described it as ‘how courtly love transmits over into the modern day of today.”

Female students went as far as lowering their heads and gaze, when it came to addressing men, not to mention an added element of curtsy too. Simultaneously, the females were ordered to not complain or whine, for as long as the assignment lasted.

On the other hand, reports confirmed how the assignment from Shallowater High School, present in Lubbock, also told female students to prevent showing any forms of ‘intellectual superiority’ that could possibly offend men of all types, around them.

Just like that, male students also received their fair share of orders and rules. These included several advisories relating to how to refer to girls as ‘milady’ and showing females courtly courtesy, while they assist ladies who possibly dropped their article, by picking it up and handing it to them.

Thankfully, boys were prevented from using any forms of vulgar behavior during the school assignment or making any complaints. When females entered their presence, they were requested to rise and do the same, whenever they chose to exit a room.

The news went viral on social media, with many viewers sharing their feedback on the assignment. Some went as far as speculating how the assignments were actually designed to show regressive gender roles during that time period. However, many felt that the material enlisted in the assignment was totally unacceptable, no matter what the actual intent called for.

After receiving immense criticism across the board, the school ended up canceling the concept immediately.
