On Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, John Legend revealed that when he was in his twenties, he often cheated on women.
Legend told Shepard, who also admitted to being a cheater before meeting Kristen Bell, it was only after meeting his wife, Chrissy Teigen that he changed his ways.
“Yes, I did have a history of [cheating].point 300 |
Definitely in my 20’s.point 21 | I think what happened for me, you go through a lot of your life in your teens and I was younger than everybody in high school and college, and so I just didn’t get a lot of girls.point 167 | When I started to get that attention, I loved it.point 207 |
I escaped ‘technically cheating’ by keeping my relationship ill-defined.point 68 | But it was really cheating.point 91 | I definitely was dishonest and selfish… It was happening before I was famous,” Legend said.point 172 | point 172 | 1
However, Chrissy Teigen wasn’t completely pleased with her husband’s honesty. The model responded on Twitter along with a screenshot of an article talking about the comments her husband made on the interview and highlighted one of his quotes.
“’Especially’??,” Teigen tweeted. “The other sh*t is the 10’s and 30’s so u better be talking the tens, idiot.”
Before sharing the lighthearted tweet, Teigen posted other tweets about her son Miles and the longest sentence he ever spoke as well as a potty incident that ended with a poo being found on their coffee table and her husband using his bare hands to dump it on the toilet.
As a result of sharing a very relatable parenting moment with her Twitter followers, Teigen started getting hateful tweets from people who claim to be QAnon members. The trolling got so bad that she briefly changed her Twitter to private.
“If Twitter doesn’t do something about this *actually scary* harassment, I am gonna have to go,” Teigen tweeted in response to someone accusing her of “tormenting” her “suffering” children. She later thanked her friends for helping her deal with a large amount of scary trolling she deals with on a regular basis.
