A Teenager Is Charged With Attempted Murder After He Shot 15-year-old Boy In The Face


In Suffolk, a 15-year-old boy was shot in a face – a teenager has been charged with a firearm offense and attempted murder.

As soon as the police received the report, they got to the crime scene shortly after 8:40 AM yesterday.

The 15 years old boy got shot while he was going to school in Kesgrave, Ipswich.

Witnesses reported that they saw the suspect leaving the attacker, he got into his car and drove away.

The ambulance technicians tried for 90 minutes to save the victim at the scene before taking him to the hospital.

The boy was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and according to the doctors, he is still in a critical condition.

The police yesterday at 10:55 AM arrested the teenage culprit and charged him with attempted murder. Furthermore, they seized his vehicle and the weapon, which has been recovered from inside. 

As stated by the Sussex Police the attacker has been taken to the Police Investigation Centre and has been remanded in custody.

The suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with the attempt of murder, possession of a firearm with the purpose to endanger other people’s lives, possession of a firearm with the purpose to cause fear of injury.

 On Wednesday 9th September,  the 15 years old culprit will appear before the Norwich Magistrates’ Court via video link.

On the report of the Sussex Police in the upcoming days, police officers will patrol in the Kesgrave area, to guarantee the safety and relieve the local citizens, to listen to any concerns, and to make sure that this kind of incident will not happen again.

Friends and family described the victim boy as a ‘sweet lad’ and ‘ordinary, genuine boy’ who loved music and enjoyed being a Scout.
