In a shocking and tragic turn of events, a 19-year-old girl received the nightmare of her life.
After testing positive for COVID-19, the young girl was allegedly raped by her ambulance driver. Moreover, the incident took place while she was on her way to the hospital. Only recently did the young teen receive positive results from her COVID-19 tests.
According to reports, the paramedic who was driving the ambulance sexually assaulted her, as she was going to the hospital. Moreover, he was identified as V Noufal, a 29-year-old, from Kerala’s district of Pathanamthitta in India. The incident took place on a Saturday night.
Above all, Indian state authorities confirmed how they arrested the driver on Sunday. Meanwhile, they also publicly made claims of how the driver lacked any authentic clearance certificate. And that means he wasn’t cleared before he joined the institute as a driver.
But that’s not all. Further investigations into the criminal case revealed more shocking findings. The driver has plenty of offending crimes from the past, to his name. Currently, there are a number of criminal cases put forward against him.
More investigations into the horrifying ordeal revealed how he picked up his victim, alongside another 42-year-old woman. Their pick up point was the Adoor Government general hospital. And that’s where she tested positive for the coronavirus. Once he dropped the elderly woman at a separate COVID center, located in Aranmula, he drove off alone with his victim.
But, instead of dropping her immediately to her Firstline COVID Treatment FAcility, he took the vehicle in a secluded area. Over there, he removed his personal protective equipment, raping the young teen at 10 pm.
After carrying out the heinous act, he reportedly said sorry for his actions too.
Moreover, he threatened and warned so she wouldn’t disclose the incident.Soon, he dropped her off at the designated hospital.
And that’s when the victim immediately told the hospital’s staff, leading to the criminal’s arrest on Sunday.
