A teen from Texas is speaking out loud about how officers savagely beat her for not wearing her face mask correctly.
According to reports, Kaidence Lyons is a 15-year-old student from Clear Creek High School. Recently, she was in deep trouble for not donning her face mask properly. As she walked down the hallway, one of the school’s staffers scolded her. At the same time, she confirmed how the employee called her names.
Likewise, the staffer also accused the 15-year old of speaking back. Kaidence explains how he rudely and bluntly said that he is tired of Black kids. They always feel that they can run the school. And that was quite a shocker for her.
On the other hand, the teen reveals how her next spot was the principal’s office. And that’s where they took her into a separate room. Here, she confirmed how the authorities physically assaulted her. Moreover, they comprised a total of 3 separate officers. They even went to the extent of placing her in handcuffs.
Kaidence says that the officers never told her why they arrested her.
Meanwhile, she confirmed how they harassed her and even slammed her down.‘They arrested, handcuffed, and slammed me down,’ she said.
They were hitting me for a number of reasons. On the other hand, the young black teen’s mother is horrified over the incident.She confirmed how her daughter suffered head as well as knee injuries.
Likewise, the scary beatdown gave her a broken hand too.
Shanna Proctor-Lyons confirms how she simply lost it. She exclaims, ‘I couldn’t understand why my 15-year-old received such a harsh punishment. They beat her so badly.But they didn’t have any valid reason why.
’At the same time, the young teen’s lawyers are finding it hard to comprehend why the room where she was isolated had no cameras. They requested authorities to also release the CCTV footage of the moments that led to the incident too.
Galveston’s County Sheriff released statements where he confirmed the teen’s arrest. He said she received charges for disorderly conduct as well as resisting arrest. However, she didn’t’ report any injuries at that time. Also, he explained that she was never alone in the room. There was always someone present there.
