Recently, an elementary school teacher got a call from her student’s pregnant mother who asked her to attend to her soon-to-be child. Zully is a Guatemalan asylum seeker, and she is expected to give birth to her second child. She had no one around who could be responsible for her newborn so she reached out to Luciana.
Zully couldn’t think of a person trustworthy enough to hand her newborn over to. So, she called her child’s teacher, and Luciana did not hesitate to concede to her proposal and got ready to take care of Zully’s newborn until she fully recovers from COVID-19 symptoms.
Good lord, what a great human being she is as she agreed to take care of her student’s newborn brother. Such people are not in abundance in the world, they are rare and cannot be easily found. Hence, they deserve to be acknowledged and held in high esteem.
Luciana Lira talked to Zully’s husband over phone, and she got familiar with the fact that the entire family suspects to be under the attack of Coronavirus; all of them including Luciana’s student manifest the symptoms of coronavirus and until the father-son duo test negative, they want the baby to be in safe hands.
Zully’s husband thoroughly explained why they’re compelled to take help from someone besides their family. Luciana, being an empathetic human being, understood their situation and took the baby into her guardianship.
