Ted Cruz was left fuming after a staffer from Biden’s administration blocked his camera from filming the migrant crisis on the southern border.
Cruz led an entire delegation comprising of Republican senators towards Donna in Texas, where he wished to tour the migrant facilities that were present in the area. Upon entering, Cruz was appalled at the dire state of all those migrants living there.
Moreover, Cruz called the situation at the border ‘one of the worst that he has ever come across in his lifetime. In the same way, he chose to refer to it as a full-blown crisis too.
But what really left the senator shocked is how a certain staff member who was reportedly part of the Biden administration, blocked Cruz’s camera with her face. It certainly appeared as if she wished to prevent him from filming the ongoing crisis that Cruz wished to show the American nation.
Cruz alongside Senator John Cornyn led the delegation into facilities that were overpacked with migrants. Clearly, the situation showed the scary truth of how the facilities were overcrowded to extremes, posing an imminent threat.
The staffer barged in between the filming with the terms, ‘please give dignity to the people. Please give dignity to the people… please respect them and the rules, the staffer started to yell.
On that note, a fuming Cruz called the staffer out by stating, “So you work for the commissioner, you are a senior adviser and you were hired 14 days back. You are also instructed to prevent us from taking pictures because the political leadership in charge doesn’t want Americans to know about what really is going on here,” he added.
The staffer boldly responded to the senator’s comments with, “Please do not treat all of these people as such.”
But Cruz was quick to take a step back and add how he only wished to help the migrants and respected them. However, he wasn’t afraid to mention how the Biden administration was solely responsible for the conditions seen at the migrant facilities.
