Columbian actress Sofia Vergara seems to be on a winning streak as she won another major legal battle recently.

The star was all smiles after her ex-fiance Nick Loeb lost all custody rights over the couple’s frozen embryos. The ongoing battle went on for years but now a Los Angeles court’s superior judge granted Sofia Vergara full ownership as her former fiance was guilty of using the couple’s frozen embryos.

Now, Loeb can’t use the embryos without Sofia’s consent, which is a major blow to his case. And that was where he attempted to gain full rights of ownership, including going as far as to name the couple’s embryos too.

Local media outlets confirmed how Loeb even tried establishing trusts for the embryos, as reported by TMZ. He fought both ‘tooth as well as a nail for permission so as to bring forward the embryos to the term.’

In addition, last month, the star went viral after he lost another major legal battle for custody rights relating to the frozen embryos, after a court in Louisiana ruled in favor of Sofia Vergara.

Shockingly, the legal saga goes as far back to the year 2015 when 45-year-old Loeb first filed a major lawsuit against the Modern Family Star. And that was as a bid to bring to term two other female embryos that the couple created, as they planned to use it with the help of a surrogate in the future.

While the case’s legal proceedings initially started in California, they were later dismissed. Soon, Vergara found out how Loeb sued her in one of the strangest lawsuits. Here, the embryos were named and even listed as plaintiffs.

Nick and Sofia’s relationship goes as far back as 2010. The duo called off their engagement in 2014, after dating for 2010. Vergara also has an adult son from her previous marriage with Joe Manganiello.
