A snake did a great job on hiding itself and it’s almost impossible to see – but can you spot it?
The image of a camouflaged snake has left people on the internet puzzled!
The photo below shows scenic woodland, however, if you take a look closer, there is a deadly snake entailed in a branch as it watches its prey down below.
The mind-boggling image was shared by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers —a professional snake-catching service in Australia — after the snake was released in Caloundra West last week.
“The Sunshine Coast’s favorite Sunday session, ‘Spot the Snake Sunday,’” Stuart McKenzie, a member of the snake catchers team has captioned the photo. “We have been driving people mad with these lately, so here’s an ‘easier’ one.”
“As per usual – bonus points for the correct species, good luck!”
The answer is in the image below!
Do you still struggle to see it? Here’s a closer look:
While McKenzie claimed that it is an “easier” one, Facebook users were completely baffled.
“Judging by all those trees, I’m going to say brown tree snake,” someone commented on the post. “Harmless, cause I can’t find it.”
“I haven’t spotted a single one in the three months I’ve been following these,” one person commented. “As a result, I no longer feel safe venturing outside.”
“How about an easier one for those of us that are half-blind and refuse to wear glasses?” another said.
Some people did find the snake despite making itself almost invisible, while others struggled to guess the correct species.
McKenzie later revealed that the snake is a coastal carpet python and is commonly found in the region.
