A detestable act of cruelty recently shook everyone on the internet as the pictures of an injured Lion cub are viral on social media.
A photographer broke the hind legs of a Lion cub so it would not run away and sit peacefully to take pictures with the tourists on Russian beaches.
The cute little cub was snatched away from his mother when he was born by some cruel humans so they could make money out of him. According to reports, he was also beaten up and so tortured that it injured his spine leaving him to die in pain.
When a rescue team found him he was starving to the point of dying and someone poured a lot of water on his hind legs for unknown reasons. His legs and lower part of the body was fully covered in dirt.
Simba, the poor creature posed as he poked his tongue out when the rescue team caught him. They also shared before and after pictures of Simba’s surgery.
Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, was so distressed that when he found out about the loathsome incident he ordered for a probe into the matter.
The rescuers and the helpers are now taking care of Simba assisting him to learn walking again. Simba’s Vet Karen Dallakyan said he suffered an ocean of pain from the humans and this was a real hell for him. According to Mr. Dalla, Simba is disfigured forever but he can learn how to walk again.
Karen Dallakyan also informed the president that no criminal case is yet opened against the people responsible for this heinous crime which the president took notes of. The Kremlin leader promised to act against the torturer and assistants, in case, and now an investigation has opened.
