People from different communities and backgrounds are being infected by this severe virus in a jiffy, and the numbers do not seem to be slowing down even for the sake of the holy mother of Lord.

This time, a tribal boy turns out to be the unlucky one. This 15-year-old lad fell severely ill with symptoms of Coronavirus obvious in him. He was having a high temperature, a sore throat, and severe chest pain. The teenager was also noticed falling short of breath lately.

Tribal people usually do not believe in mixing up with urban people unless there’s a medical emergency and someone is in a critical condition. They suggest cures for insignificant diseases like fever and cough themselves.

They must have rushed to seek help in a nearby hospital when they saw the boy struggling for breath. Since he had conspicuous symptoms of COVID-19 in his body, he must be in a dire need of ventilation at the time they took him to the hospital.

This boy belongs to the Yanomami tribe that inhabits along the Brazilian-Venezuelan border. He has been under intensive care since his admission at the general hospital of Roraima, the northernmost state of Brazil.

On top of that, seven more tribesmen have fallen victim to the Coronavirus — whether they derived the coronavirus from this teenager or any other source is yet to be determined. This 15-year-old was indeed the first among tribal people to catch prime symptoms of COVID-19.

There’s a fear looming over his fellow tribesmen that this untreatable virus could wipe out their entire population. Who is gonna reach out to these poor people when powerful countries are falling short of resources to save their urban populace? Their fear is not irrational, so to say.
