Capitol protestors displayed extreme forms of violence after vandalizing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office on Wednesday.
The US capitol was attacked in more ways than one, with Pro-Trump supporters making sure they left their mark in the most violent of ways. And that’s also when news broke out on how rioters vandalized Nancy Pelosi’s grand suite of offices too.
Shocking footage showed men flipping tables while scavenging through a series of desks.
This was right after a giant mob comprising of Trump supporters barged into the building.In the same way, one man was also photographed reclining upon a chair while laying his feet on a desk.
On the other hand, some men donning ‘Make America Great Again’ hats played around with the desk phone, while others live-streamed the incident.In the same way, another Capitol protestor was observed grinning as he sneakingly walked away with the House Speaker’s podium. Therefore, these unprecedented episodes of violence and vandalism continued throughout the Capitol on Wednesday. It was sheer chaos as crowds went wild, with police officers unable to tame them.
Looting was prominent as miscreants overpowered the police by all means.
On the other hand, protestors also made their way to the Senate, disrupting an important Congress session too.Here, they trapped lawmakers in both the Senate as well as the House of Representatives chamber.
And this ultimately resulted in a tensed themed armed standoff.You could also see protestors clicked away as they wandered around certain high-profile lawmakers’ officers. They rummaged through all of their private property and documents, right after getting evacuated dramatically. And that’s when they were transported to another secret location.
Some media reports went as far as confirming how cops from Capitol Hill had no choice but to plead with the rioters. And that’s so they could stop rifling through different senators’ belongings. In the same way, they even posed for selfies to prevent them from causing further destruction.
Meanwhile, the White House announced how it was deploying the National Guard to help bring calmness to a very tense situation. And that is what ultimately led to the dispersal of massive protester crowds.
