This week has seen several violent clashes and conflicts creating chaos in #BlackLivesMatter protests in the wake of George Floyd’s murder.
Such a horrendous incident took place in London on 6th June as demonstrators got aggressive and brutal as some of them hurtled bikes on police horses.
The London cops on horses were trying to keep things calm when things got out of hands and intense as the demonstrators started throwing projectiles at them. A young man wearing a dark blue overcoat and black gloves grabbed a Boris bike in front of the Foreign Office and deliberately raced it towards the police horses.
One of the horses got scared and it bolted throwing the female police officers on top of it down. The officer is believed to become unconscious immediately and she was knocked down. The horse then made his way out to its stable hurting a few demonstrators.
Other police horses were also reported to be thrown upon some missiles as a witness said ‘the flare was an inch from my head’. A series of pictures portray the whole story of how the masked man created this chaos and the horse stood on its hind legs before bolting.
Two officers are seen taking the unconscious rider cop to a safe place and a demonstrator is helping them. The Met police said they are running an investigation on the matter, however, no animal or human was hurt except for the female rider of the bolted horse.
The female officer is admitted to the hospital where she is getting treatment for her injuries. However, no life-threatening harms have happened to her. The entire city of London is experiencing protests against the brutal murder of an American citizen George Floyd at the hands of Derek Chauvin, Minnesota police officer.
