In Pakistan, Nowshera, a six-year-old girl, has been raped, tortured, and beaten to death before being dumped in a sack.
The horrific incident unfolded earlier this week when 6-year old child Seema, left her home to go outside and play with her friends in the city of Nowshera, in the north of Pakistan.
But when she didn’t come back home, her parents got worried and asked the mosques to make announcements on the loudspeaker for her daughter.
People went out and tried to help her parents to find her, but soon Seema’s body was discovered in a sack in the field.
As soon as they found her body, they made a call to the police, and her body was transported to Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex Nowshera, but later she was taken to the Khyber Teaching Hospital in Peshawar.
The doctor who examined her body confirmed the fact that she was raped and tortured barbarically before her death. Police stated that her body was found in the sack in the deserted chicken farm. She was repeatedly struck with a stone on her head and other parts of her body.
An 18-year-old neighbor allegedly abducted her when she was going out to play. He took her, raped, and tortured her to death, put her body in the sack, and threw it in a deserted field.
When Seema failed to come back home, her parents started looking for her and asked the mosque to make calls for her daughter in the loudspeaker. It is claimed that the suspect also joined the search party for Seema when she was reported missing.
After looking for the suspect, police started questioning the people, and upon asking 18-year-old admitted his crime and told the police that he killed her because he was afraid and thought she might identify him.
Police arrested one more suspect, but no information has been given about the second suspect.
After the news broke, outraged social media users posted her pictures, one in which she is standing with another boy, perhaps her brother and another picture of her dead body, covered in bruises and marks.
Once again one more angel has left the Earth in pain and tears, says Human rights group Voice of Pakistan Minority, in her tweet, she also says what kind of atmosphere and we are creating for our children.
It is not the first incident to have hit the headlines. Earlier this year, the news of an 8-year-old girl, raped and murdered, shocked the entire nation. The 8-year-old girl went out of her home in January and never returned home. Two men were arrested for raping and killing the 8-year-old.
