Keziah Jozefiak was tanning before heading out for dinner with her partner James Smith on February 14, when her five-month-old son Raf woke up hungry.
As any caring mother would, Keziah didn’t think twice and picked him up to breastfeed, forgetting about her fake tan.
For those who didn’t know, fake tans need time to dry naturally to avoid getting it all over where it is not intended to be.
Unfortunately, for Keziah, she did not have the chance to let her tan dry when baby Raf cried to be fed.
As soon as baby Raf was full, Keziah was left laughing her heart out when she saw a circle of fake tan in his face, covering his mouth, chin and the bottom of his nose.
Luckily, baby Raf didn’t mind sporting his new look, which closely resembles that of Homer Simpson’s stubble.
Keziah almost instantly took on Twitter to share a photo of smiling baby Raf while, and has been liked over a hundred thousand times.
In an interview, she said, “When I looked down at Raf I just burst out laughing. I couldn’t believe the tan had left his mouth looking like Homer.”
“I took a picture and sent it to my girl friends and they were all laughing as well,” she added.
“Everyone is finding it hilarious and my mum rang me in tears she found it so funny.”
She tried to squeeze in her tanning time while baby Raf was asleep, but he woke up starving mid-tan.
It took her an hour to remove the tanning fail from her baby boy’s face, using baby oil and baby wipes.
It is a lesson learned for Keziah, and she promised that this will be the first and last time she will feed her baby with her tan still on.
