A man who is believed to be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s alleged killer from Colorado is being held without bail.
According to media reports, the man allegedly traveled to the capital of the country with a giant collection of ammunition rounds as well as a great variety of weapons. This was all in the hopes of carrying out a successful assassination attempt on the House Speaker.
The shocking incident was planned for last week, confirmed news agencies. Now, the man is being held without any bail and is expected to make his next appearance at a court hearing too.
Until then, Cleveland Meredith will stay behind bars until his trial begins, relating to charges of transferring a threat. This includes the possession of unlawful firearms as well as the possession of unlawful ammunition rounds too, confirmed by the prosecutors.
Meredith is guilty of allegedly driving a truck with its attached trailer on January 6th, towards the nation’s capital. And that was when a giant mob of violent rioters stormed into the US Capitol building, putting forward all efforts to try and overturn the results for the elections. This was read in the form of a criminal complaint that was filed in the state of Washington recently.
On the other hand, other news reports confirmed how Meredith who was carrying around 2500 rounds of ammunition, fired off a series of furious text messages relating to how he wished to kill Nancy Pelosi as well as the Mayor for DC, Muriel Bowser.
In one of his text messages, he wrote, ‘we’re gonna surround DC, and slowly constrict.point 199 | ’ While in another shocking threat, he mentioned, ‘I’m gonna collect a s—t ton of Traitors heads.point 304 |
