A UK mom who had sex with a 14-year-old boy; on her trial, claimed that the schoolboy only admitted his age when he left the bed.
The 32-year-old woman called Teah Vincent, who is a mother of three children, at the Gloucester Crown Court on Wednesday said that she does not deny that they had sex. She said that she invited the boy to her home after watching him playing soccer with one of his friends.
Teah Vincent said that she didn’t force him; he happily responded on his own accord. However, the boy claimed that Teah suddenly appeared naked and mounted him when he had just expected to play video games.
The 32-year-old mother told the court that she is sure he told her that he was 16 years old, and she felt he looked much older. She continued; it didn’t occur to her that he might be underage- he definitely did not tell her that his age was only 14 before they had sex.
According to the court report, the boy panicked when he revealed his real age. Teah said that they were talking about school, and then she realized the boy’s actual age. Teah Vincent said that she is angry at herself, and he is also angry with the boy and his friend lying about their age.
The mother said if she had known the truth at the time, she wouldn’t be here in court now, according to the report. Prosecutors declared that the boy told his true age and being at school with the mom before she took him up to her bed.
Furthermore, Teah denied the charge of knowingly having sex with a child under the age of 16 in the ongoing trial.
