To make sure she’s up for early release, Rosdeep, now 41, worked at her best to learn and become a model prisoner.

“She’s been doing what she can to prove she’s a model prisoner and it worked,” a source told The Sun. “But seven years is a slap on the wrist, it’s disgraceful.”

According to The Sun, no one from Rosdeep’s family would like to give a comment on her early release, including her parents.

“Some prisoners are glad to see the back of her, but a lot are angry she’s out so soon,” a former fellow inmate said.

Her neighbor, Simone Evelyn, 33, who’s living yards from where Mikaeel was killed said that she’s ‘disgusted to hear that a monster will be given a new life after she ends her young son’s.’

In January 2014, Rosdeep came from a night out with friends at a restaurant, went home and ended up killing the helpless Mikaeel.

Reports have said that Rosdeep did this horrendous crime after her son allegedly disobeyed her by eating too much. She beat him repeatedly at their home in Drylaw, Edinburgh for over three days until he ultimately died from internal injuries.

After seeing that her son was dead, Rosdeep wrapped his Mikaeel’s body in a duvet and forcefully stuffed it into a suitcase. She then reported that her son is missing after dumping the suitcase near her sister’s home.

During that time, hundreds of concerned locals helped in search of the missing boy until a person found the boy’s remains in a woodland.

One neighbor said that Rosdeep spoke about her son letting himself out of their house and disappeared.

“When it turned out she did it everybody was disgusted,” one neighbor said of the incident. “Her release is morally repugnant.”

“I find it hard to love my son,” Rosdeep said, who also had a history of depression and admitted homicide.

According to the High Court in Edinburgh, Mikaeel suffered from 40 separate injuries and was not even brought to a hospital for the reason that people might get suspected of her if bruises would be seen.
