In the UK, the Leeds Crown Court has heard a mother left a bottle of bleach with a straw because she wanted her three-year-old son to drink it.
The unnamed woman, in her 20s, admitted that she hated being a mother and that she brutally mistreated her son during the trial.
Medics and social workers found 80 bruises across the 3-year-old’s head and body, however, the mother blamed her boyfriend for the injuries.
The wicked mom then confessed that she left a bleach out hoping her kid would drink it and would leave an open window so that the little boy could jump out of it to kill himself.
The court heard disturbing details of the abuse as the mother was sentenced.
Despite the dreadful abuse suffered by the toddler, his mother has pleaded guilty to two counts of child cruelty and was handed a two-year suspended sentence.
The abuse she made to her son was discovered when they went home to her boyfriend’s mother, who immediately contacted social services.
The social workers said that they “had never seen anything so bad” after seeing the boy’s condition.
Doctors found extensive bruising on the poor little boy’s head, arms, and legs and also, bleeding to his retina. He was placed on child protection afterward.
The toddler is now living in a “secure safe environment” and is doing well.
Instead of blaming it all on her boyfriend, the woman later accepted neglecting her son for months. She also confessed that she didn’t want the child in her life.
The court heard that the irresponsible woman said she “hated being a mother”.
