Sameer Anwar from Dunedin, New Zealand, pushed a part of a Lego character’s arm up his nostril back in 2018 and was not able to get it out.

His father, Mudassir, and his wife was alarmed as soon as Sameer confessed about the ordeal and decided to bring him to a General Practitioner right away.

Unfortunately, the doctor was also unable to find the missing Lego piece, and declared that since the boy never complained about any pain or discomfort, the piece will find its way to his digestive tract and would be expelled in a natural way.

Eventually, the family forgot about it and went on with their lives “since then he’s never complained or anything.”

Mudassir said in an interview that his son is “quite playful and a mischievous character.”

This all changed on Sunday night, two years after the ordeal, thanks to a plate of pink cupcakes.

Sameer leaned down to take a great big sniff of the cupcakes, when his nose began to hurt.

At first, they thought that the boy had inhaled some cake crumbs, so her mother helped him blow his nose in hopes of clearing his nostrils.

Much to their surprise, a tiny piece of fungus-covered black Lego dropped out of Sameer’s nose.

“We never expected such thing,” said Mudassir, “The Lego piece looks a bit gross but that’s how it is. Unbelievable.”

The boy was delighted to see the missing Lego piece, and exclaimed to his parents, “Mum, I found the Lego! You were telling me it wasn’t there, but it was there!”

The family is still deciding on what to do with the Lego piece, although Mudassir jokingly suggested that they “should donate it to a museum.”
