Father of 5 kids expresses his joy after his wife delivered twins, despite her 10-day coma stay due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the elated father also went on expressing how he was terrified for his wife. And that’s when doctors explained that she contacted the deadly virus. They rushed her to the emergency room where medical experts mentioned she was in a state of coma.
Covid-19 led her to her 10 day coma stay and that was a near death experience, to say the least. As she battled the virus bravely, she soon recovered. Yes, Danielle Martin from Belfast beat all odds with a safe and healthy recovery.
At just nine weeks into her pregnancy, she struggled to breathe. And that’s when her husband, 32 year old Bryan Green scrambled to her rescue. He feared for the lives of his wife as well as his unborn child.
But thankfully, it all worked out well in the end. Danielle woke up one day from her coma. And those agonizing 10 days took a massive toll on her husband. But when she did, it was more good news for the couple.
They were delighted to find out that they weren’t expecting one baby. Certainly, they were actually expecting two on the way. Just this week, Danielle delivered two healthy and beautiful baby girls. Named as Ava and twin sister Amelia, the proud father can’t help but express his joy.
For him, it’s a major miracle and he refers to them as his princesses. But the struggle truly wasn’t easy. His wife caught pneumonia on March 30th, right after she suffered from a major chest infection.
Therefore, it was a wakeup call for the call. This wasn’t going to be an easy pregnancy and they had to hope for the best. From breathing problems to ventilators galore, she went through it all.
But all the hard efforts and struggles were worth it in the end. Today, the couple enjoys the presence of their beautiful angels. Most importantly, these girls are nothing else than glimmers of shining light after a dark tunnel.
