Last week, a misogynistic journal writer published an article against the president-elect’s wife and said the doctor’s title with her name feels fraudulent.
Mrs. Obama, 56 today wrote a lengthy post in Dr. Biden’s defense and hit all the misogynists who doubt the accomplishments of professional women.
WSJ writer Joseph Epstein wrote that Biden must drop her doctor title; the article created a furious debate on social media.
So many people replied to the article, and Mrs. Obama was one of them. Though she didn’t name Joseph Epstein yet, we all know that she was infuriated by his remarks. Obama wrote that she witnesses how smartly Jill Biden manages so many responsibilities simultaneously with so much perfection.
Either it is official obligations in the White House, professional duty as a teacher, or responsibilities of a mother and wife, she never disappoints anyone.
Obama posted a picture with Jill Biden On Instagram and wrote a heartfelt caption in her support. She said this is not the first time a professional woman is ridiculed, and her achievements are doubted. We have witnessed many such incidents earlier, too, when such chauvinists mock and disrespect talented women.
She was so enraged by the article and said, what kind of example are we setting for the coming generation. Why is it difficult for a woman to progress in this society, and why she has to prove herself over and over again?
The mother of two wrote so much in Biden’s appreciation and said we couldn’t ask for a better First Lady. She showed her confidence in the upcoming first lady and said Biden would be a role model for younger girls as she is an excellent representative of working women who embrace success with such grace.
