He also added that Trump has the authority to rerun the election after imposing martial law in all the swing states. Flynn gave reference to the conspiracy theory that suggests that voting machines flipped during elections.
Flynn said imposing martial law is not impossible or unusual, the nation has witnessed Martial law 64 times in US history, and it would be no wrong if Trump also institutes martial law.
He added that the US has a strong constitutional process, and it has to be followed at every cost. However, according to experts, Flynn has given a flawed statement, and no president had ever imposed martial law to rerun an election in the US.
