On Saturday, Melania Trump was heavily ridiculed for posting a dark photo to celebrate his son’s birthday.
Melania wished Barron a happy 15th birthday on Twitter but her followers criticized and didn’t like the color scheme of the photo.
“Happy birthday BWT,” Melania tweeted with red heart emojis.
The former first lady posted the birthday greeting with an image of dark balloons that reads “15”. A similar post to the silver “14” balloons she posted in 2020.
But some Twitter users were disappointed and immediately expressed their disapproval of Melania’s photo of choice for a post that is supposed to celebrate life and claimed it’s too dark.
“Melanie dear, you could have found a more cheerful pic,” one user commented. “This looks quite morbid, but perhaps that’s how you/he feels.”
“How festive! Nothing quite says Happy Birthday to a 15-year-old quite like a black balloon that appears to be dripping blood,” another one wrote. “But then…#BeBest never really made it either.”
“Wow….that is a very dark meme for a birthday,” another user added. “Very bad vibe to it.”
“But why did I think this was some creepy font with blood drips or something,” a commenter said. “Damn…this is the most horrific happy birthday I’ve ever seen! Looks evil AF. LOL!!!”
While some expressed their disappointment, other Twitter followers disagreed with the dark-photo claims and insisted that there is nothing wrong with the color scheme of the posted image.
“It’s only chocolate,” one said. “Dark minds see dark things.”
“Dripping chocolate? Yum,” another commenter added. “Depends on what you see and the morbid in your heart!”
“How does this look morbid lmao they’re balloons,” another user wrote.
