The real meaning behind Meghan Markle’s ‘self-truth’ necklace was revealed.
Earlier this year and just before the bombshell Oprah interview, Meghan Markle made fashion fans shocked when she appeared in a $30 blue dress on CBS’ The Late Late Late Show with James Corden.
During Corden’s interview with Prince Harry, the host had a quick FaceTime call with Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing the ‘self-truth’ necklace, a few days before her interview with Oprah Winfrey aired.
Page Six reported that Meghan wore a $1,300 crystal necklace from The Airelume.
The crystal necklace Meghan wore is a lapis lazuli crystal and “aids in self-expression and revelation of one’s inner truth,” according to the product description.
“This stone is widely regarded as a token of sincerity, and wisdom, and is especially helpful to anyone in need of a boost in self-confidence and a stronger connection to their inner voice,” the website states.
The ‘self-truth’ necklace —along with other wearable talismans— was designed by Taryn Toomey. It is known that the designer attended the Royal couple’s luxurious baby shower in New York last 2019.
Just a few days after the Duchess was seen wearing the “self-truth” necklace, the Oprah interview aired in the United States.
While some people claim she wore the crystal necklace to strengthen and protect herself from the backlash that followed after the tell-all, some others just claimed that it is just a necklace with no meaning at all.
