Meghan Markle revealed the real reason why her baby Archie wasn’t made a prince during a candid interview with Oprah.
Here, Meghan talked about a sensational revelation about how the royals were too worried about how dark her baby’s skin color would be. Therefore, that is the real reason why she thinks he was denied the title of being a prince.
In the same way, Meghan dropped another bombshell when she spoke about how the couple was well informed about how she and Harry’s son would not get any form of police protection. The royals denied his rights to security.
The fact that Harry is white and Meghan is a mixed-race seems to be one of the biggest concerns of the members in Buckingham Palace, she mentioned. While Meghan remained hush on which royal actually made the comment, she did say how she wasn’t keen on revealing that person’s name as it would be very damaging for them.
When Oprah questioned the couple on whether or not they found the title of prince important for their child, Meghan confirmed how she had zero wishes of grandeur titles nor does she carry any attachment or fondness for them.
However, the idea of their son not being safe and having zero police protection did raise alarms for the couple. It was definitely shocking to see the behavior of the royal family as Archie failed to get the same honor, protocol, and dignity as other grandchildren in the family did.
As Prince Harry joined his wife Meghan for the last part of the interview, he did talk about how awkward and weird he felt after that particular conversation took place. In the same way, he did decline to reveal any more details regarding the incident by choosing to remain silent on the topic.
Meghan also added how the conversations regarding her baby’s dark’ skin color concerns took place with Harry and his family. And those conversations were then relayed on to her by Harry himself.
