“It’s official, traffic is double double animal style right now all around the mall,” Aurora Police tweeted.

“We are on hand helping manage the massive traffic response. Be patient and be kind.”

They posted another update warning people of a 12-hour wait, noting that the line “wrapped around the mall twice.”

“I don’t know if we’ve ever felt more welcome, between all the anticipation and the requests for In-N-Out to come to Colorado and now to see the customers out here this morning just feels great,” said In-N-Out’s vice president of operations Denny Warnick.
