In stripping Meghan and Harry of their titles the Queen fired the first shot but now Meghan is firing back with some very sassy retaliation.
Meghan Markle told friends that there is nothing ‘ legally restricting ‘ her and Prince Harry from using their Royal Sussex titles, despite the Queen prohibiting them from using it.
She said that the global initiatives they are working on and they chose the name to protect the royal name, not benefit from it.
The 38-year-old lamented to her close circle that the use of name ‘ shouldn’t be an issue anymore and it’s not like selling t-shirts and pencils’.
Meghan said she’s done with the drama and there’s no place for sceptics in her life and the same applies for Harry. ‘
The friend continued: ‘ Meghan said their brand name pales in comparison compared to the foundation they are building, and the tremendously positive impact it will have on people and the environment. ‘
It sounds as if the divide between Harry and his family is widening, as Meghan is fanning more flames between the two families.
‘ Despite the name she said Harry and Archie have royal blood and no one can take it away. And that they’ll always be considered royalty as a family’.
‘ We are creating Archie a better future for Archie and he is the one who keeps them oriented on the big picture. ‘
The spokesman, however, said Meghan and Harry had reach an agreement with the Queen that their organization will not be named Sussex Royal Foundation when it is announced this Spring.
The news comes as Prince Harry, 35, was spotted doing a grocery run on Saturday in Vancouver.
As he headed home to the $14 million Vancouver Island mansion where he and Meghan live with baby Archie, he was seen carrying an eco-friendly bag full of groceries.
The Queen’s order is thought to represent a major blow to the Sussexes, who would face re-registration of everything under a new label from their website.
The Instagram page of the Sussexes, @sussexroyal, has gained 11.2 million followers-the same number of fans as the account of William and Kate.
