In Bangkok, Thailand, a man was rushed into the ER after putting a metal ring to enlarge it and impress his date for Valentine’s Day.
The unnamed man heard a simple trick using only the contents of his toolbox that could do the job to increase the size of his manhood.
Unfortunately, instead of enlarging it, the metal rings became stuck forcing paramedics to carefully remove it with a metal cutter.
“I was terrified that I would need my penis amputated,” the man said. “It had swollen so much that I thought it would burst.”
The man believed that putting his penis through a metal nut would enlarge and strengthen it by forcing blood into the glands.
In a scary turn of events, after using baby oil to insert the metal ring into his penis, it started to swell the following day, and the man began feeling the pain and was unable to remove it.
He then called the emergency hotline after having the ring stuck around the base of his manhood overnight. Medics arrived at his house and he was rushed to a hospital.
The medics had to use a metal-cutter to slice and remove the nut while the man held to the bed rails, writhing in pain. Local reports said that the procedure took over an hour.
Doctors used a hacksaw, a pair of pliers, and a thin metal sheet to avoid the man’s skin from being cut.
According to rescue volunteers, the man cried in pain throughout the procedure.
Paramedics, later on, discovered that the metal nut has a diameter of 3cm and 1.5cm thick.
Regardless of the painful procedure, the doctor and volunteers managed to remove the metal ring without scratching the man’s penis. He was prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines to reduce the swelling.
“This was one of the strangest cases we have ever encountered,” one of the rescue volunteers said. “Most of the time it’s only people getting their finger stuck in a ring, so it was surprising when we arrived at the man’s house and he had his penis stuck in there.”
“We knew that cutting the nut wouldn’t be a problem, as we used the same technique with finger rings, but we were just worried about the pain the man would be experiencing while removing it.”
The man admitted that he had a date planned with his girlfriend and “just wanted to impress her,” and unsurprisingly, he didn’t make it to the date.
Doctors said that the man did not have any damage to his penis, but it could take a few weeks before it can normally function again.
