The man guilty of erasing a young child’s Black Lives Matter mural was caught red-handed and confronted by the parent.
And trust us when we say that it wasn’t a pretty sight to witness.
The child’s mother, Manette Sharick, caught the guilty man in the act. And it took place right outside her home in San Francisco.
While the man admits to the crime, he gave some rather unique justifications. The guy failed at removing the entire image, but he did manage to erase the word ‘black.’ And that was enough evidence to portray his incidence.
The guilty man said that the mural was defacing public space and property and hence that was why he removed it. However, soon he backtracked and came clean. He explained how the word black in the drawing was ‘racist.’ And that is why he removed it.
Moreover, he went on to explain that not only black lives matter. All lives matter and that was enough justification to perform such a deed.
With that said, this wasn’t his first time. Reports claim that the man carried out the act for the ‘fourth time.’ But this time, he was filmed by the toddler’s mother, Manette. And believe it or not, the whole performance was caught on screen for eight whole minutes. And it’s safe to say that it’s going viral.
In the video’s footage, you can see the mother calling out the man, who is actually one of the neighbors. She screams ‘racist ass,’ more than once. Above all, she tries to tell him to mind his own business.
But the man doesn’t back down immediately. He tries to back up his deeds by saying that he’s also a major part of this neighborhood. And for that reason, he has every right to do so. However, it seems that he’s the only one that actually has a problem with the BLM chalk mural.
