A video clip went viral on Friday morning where Goey Charles, a 29-year-old Nassau man, was seen dragging a female body out of his car.
Charles left the stagnant body at the roadside. A reporter passing by got to see the lifeless body lying in a prone position at Horace Harding Expressway. He reported to the authorities at 6 in the morning.
Later on, the female was identified as Vanessa Pierre, the girlfriend of Charles. Pierre was 29, and at the time of the murder she was 6-months pregnant, there’s no confirmation though if the child was of Charles or not. Vanessa Pierre was from Hempstead, and Charles was a resident of Uniondale.
The medical reports confirmed that Pierre was throttled and asphyxiation led her to death. There was also a visible bruise around her neck.
Charles gets arrested on Monday and Tuesday morning he was charged with the second-degree murder of her nurse girlfriend, Pierre. The neighbors and relatives of Pierre said that the couple was dating for one year.
The sad incident shattered Melissa, the sister of Vanessa Pierre. She said, “Vanessa was so excited for her baby and was madly in love with this man”. She also said that she had always felt something off about Charles and had shared her concerns multiple times with Vanessa too.
Melissa also revealed that the car was not of Charles; Vanessa instead was the owner. She also confirmed that her sister never had a conflict with anyone.
The poor father also broke into tears while sharing his feelings. He said that the terrible incident had torn him apart; it seems like he has lost two loved ones.
He was so excited about the baby’s birth and was planning for a baby shower when this terrible news met him.
