A Florida man was arrested after police spotted him masturbating with a pickle while on private property.
According to the affidavit published on March 14, 47-year-old Eric Detiege of Tampa was charged with a misdemeanor exposure of sexual organs for the unappetizing display.
The charge is a first-degree misdemeanor that can result in up to one year in jail, one year of probation, and up to $1,000 in fines.
The arresting officer at the time was dispatched to a suspicious person while circulating the area and found the suspect at private premises on Cutlass Way.
The officer then found Detiege “lying flat on his back, no pants or undergarments on his bottom half,” the affidavit states.
The affidavit continued that the suspect “had his penis in one hand and a large uneaten pickle in his other hand,” which he was using “to penetrate his rectum while he was masturbating.”
Detiege is currently being held in the Pinellas County jail in lieu of a $150 bond.
The suspect has prior convictions for theft, disorderly conduct, resisting police, and criminal mischief.
Court records also did not mention if the pickle was confiscated as evidence.
This is not the first time a man from Florida was caught doing the deed in public.
In February, a man was arrested for masturbating in the parking lot of a Walmart.
Officers found 26-year-old Kyle Weiss inside a Kia parked just outside the store after the tipster noticed the suspect’s self-love session.
“I noticed that he had an obvious erection protruding in his shorts,” the officer on the scene reported.
Weiss initially said that he is an Uber eats driver, but later one admitted to doing the deed because “he is lonely as his ex-girlfriend is in Colorado.”
He added that he did not realize he could be seen from the outside while “playing with himself.”
